“The Beach…”

“I’ve recently gotten back into film photography – something I pursued 25 years ago when I was in film school at York U. Here’s a photo I took at the end of summer 2021. As I strolled the shoreline at Sauble Beach, I reflected on what it’s like to remember our childhood experience of life. As we age it can feel like once life was mostly in front of us, whereas there comes a time when it’ll be mostly behind. Despite this, our childhood way of experiencing remains available. Always ready to be summoned by the moment.”
