Lisa Droogendyk assumes GASU Coordinator Role

Greetings from the new General Arts and Sciences Coordinator!

Having served as the General Arts and Sciences Faculty Advisor last semester, I am excited to take on this new role where I can work closely with Dalia and our faculty to support our students, and take the program in a good direction for the future. As this is my first time taking on a coordinator position, the last month has been a flurry of new acronyms, new collegial relationships, and bravely plunging into the mysterious depths of PeopleSoft. Thank you to Anthony Tavares, Mary Hughson (GAS embedded advisor), and Sarah Sinclair, who have been very patient and helpful as I acclimate to the new role. For those who are wondering, Anthony remains the coordinator of the Pre-Health Program, there is certainly enough work to keep both of us busy!
