Vermeersch Edits a Giller Nominee
FHASS’s newest, (most alliterative) Professor of Publishing, Paul Vermeersch, edited and published a novel through his imprint at Wolsak & Wynn, Buckrider Books, that made its way on to the long list for this year’s prestigious Giller Prize. Susan Perly’s Death Valley was among the 12 final contenders for the $100,000 prize, which eventually went to Madeleine Thien’s Do Not Say We Have Nothing. Well done, Paul!
