Professor Jennifer Phenix works with Animation Student on Thesis Film

Eliana Stemm, 4th year animation, has a passion for Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, revelry, theatre, madness, and illusion. In Myths of the Greek Gods, Eliana’s project focused on Dionysus as he appears in Euripides’ Bacchae, as both wonderful and terrifying. Eliana illustrated the god in his dual nature, with a reflection on his divinity and worship. Now in their final year at Sheridan, Eliana worked with Jennifer to include Greek text and lines in their short film, titled Euoi. On Sunday, April 27, screenings for fourth year Animation students’ thesis films will be open to friends and family.
