Taylor Graham: The Playwright Applause

FHASS professor Taylor Graham, whose success for her play Cottage Radio was featured in our Fall 2015 issue, continues to receive well-deserved accolades for her playwriting. Specifically, she was been selected by none other than Canadian theatre icon Judith Thompson as one of the country’s most exciting playwrights to watch. The Playwright’s Guild of Canada (PGC) initiated a program called The Playwright Applause that asks well-established Canadian dramatists to promote an up-and-coming playwright that they feel should be on everyone’s radar. Thompson, a Member of the Order of Canada and the recipient of dozens of major national awards for her own playwriting, sensibly chose Taylor! Congratulations, Taylor!
