FHASS Welcomes Isadora Juarez Miranda

Isadora was born and raised in Mexico City where family, friends and teachers profoundly shaped her life and worldview. Growing up in a culturally rich and eclectic city, she learned to integrate traditional with modern perspectives while developing adaptability and resilience. After earning her undergraduate degree in Marketing and International Trade from Universidad del Pedregal, she began her professional career collaborating with companies such as Hasbro and Citigroup.

Isadora moved to Canada to pursue new opportunities and start a family. She quickly adapted to Canada’s multicultural environment which increased her appreciation for diversity and inclusion. Her professional journey started at Telelatino Television – TLN where she coordinated cultural events and strengthened her connection to community engagement.

In 2010, Isadora joined Sheridan and has since held different roles across the International and Career Centres, FCAPS and the Office of the Registrar. Passionate about education, particularly for women and vulnerable populations, she pursued further studies and earned a Master’s degree in Adult Education with a specialization in Career Transitions from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education – OISE.

Outside her professional life, she enjoys travelling, exploring diverse cuisines, home renovation projects, and spending quality time with her family.
