FHASS Welcomes Ana Kovacevic!

Ana Kovacevic recently joined the FHASS team as the Program Support Specialist for the Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing and Publishing program. She joined Sheridan back in 2017 and has held a variety of roles including Information Specialist, Admission Advisor, Program Support in FAHCS and Student Services Associate within the OTR. Before joining Sheridan, Ana graduated from Brock University with a Masters in Education with a special focus on Administration and Leadership within post-secondary education and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and History from the University of Toronto. As a former refugee child, Ana is passionate about how refugeeism affects the Canadian educational system and how this system affects refugee children. She is a published author of 6 publications on this topic, including “Understanding the Refugee Experience in the Canadian Context.”
In her off hours, Ana enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Stefan and their families. She has a passion for reading, cooking, baking, painting and interior design. She also loves to travel and experience new cultures, architecture and ways of living.
