TESOL+ Graduate Certificate is Up and Running!

FHASS is thrilled to announce that its new Teaching English To Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Plus Graduate Certificate program is already up and running. Prof. Danielle Freitas was involved in the development of the program and has written the article “Overcoming the Theory and Practice Divide: a perspective from the TESOL Plus program” to illustrate its unique nature. In the article, she examines the origins of the English Language Teaching (ELT) industry to outline the prevalence of the theory and practice divide in the profession and discusses the ways in which the literature has tried to bridge this gap, providing practical examples of how the TESOL Plus program has dealt with such divide to overcome it.
