From the Dean’s Office
The spring semester in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was full of celebration, inspiration and special beginnings. In addition to seeing our graduating students of 2016 walk across the stage at Convocation Ceremonies, we welcomed the first cohort of graduating students to officially complete and receive the Board Undergraduate Certificate in Creativity and Creative Problem Solving. These students, a diverse group of individuals from a range of degree programs at Sheridan, were presented with their certificates at each of their respective ceremonies; a special mention was included in each instance to recognize their achievement and mark this important milestone for Sheridan.
On June 6, 2016, FHASS hosted a very special evening to mark our annual FHASS Student Awards Ceremony, where we recognized the outstanding achievements of students in each of our programs. Faculty, staff, students, families and friends had the opportunity to exchange words of gratitude, appreciation, encouragement and best wishes.
As we continue towards a lively rest of the semester, we look forward to refreshing, reflecting and reconnecting.
Congratulations to all in FHASS for the realization of another fantastic academic year!
