Nathaniel Barr is Ig-Nobel!

FHASS’s very own Nathaniel Barr, Professor of Creativity and Creative Thinking, has been awarded the 2016 Ig Nobel Peace Prize. Nathaniel attended the ceremony at Harvard University on Thursday, September 22nd to receive his award along with his fellow research colleagues from University of Waterloo.

The Ig Nobel Prizes were established to honour achievements that make people laugh, and then think. The prizes, which are presented by former Nobel Prize winners, are intended to celebrate the unusual, honour the imaginative, and spur people’s interest in science, medicine and technology.
